TAX180: THE SECTORS
Tax180 is an annual tax conference organised by The Tax Club Obafemi Awolowo Univeristy. It is the major student organised tax conference in Nigeria aimed at bringing industry leaders together to educate future leaders about taxation, fiscal policies and necessary reforms for the progress of the country.

This edition of Tax 180, tagged "The Sectors", took take place on the 1st of November, 2019. It was motivated by our strong desire to encourage and analyse tax policies specific to different industry groups in the Nigerian Economy.
The theme of this conference was Sectoral Reforms: Key to a Better Nigeria Economy.
At Tax 180; The Sectors, we explored three broad perspectives:
•The perspective of tax practitioners – analysis of relevant tax issues
•The perspective of young persons – resolutions on tax issues
•The perspective of the Academia - proposed reforms and hypothesis on their possible effects
The conference also featured an Audience Quiz!!!
Everyone in attendance was given the opportunity to volunteer to take a quiz and win cash prizes.
